On arrival at Jaguar Paw, your headquarters for the day, be prepared for a 45-minute hike down a jungle trail where your guide will point out various plants, roots and herbs once used by the ancient Maya for medicinal purposes. The entrance tunnel that heads into the underground cave system is the start of an eye-opening adventure. Your guide hands out flashlights, and you are ready to float in inflated inner tubes with gentle currents taking you through the cave system. Intricate crystalline formations line the cave and the majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites add to the serene opulence of nature. On several occasions you will emerge into the sunlight only to enter into another cave system.

At the end, whet your appetite with freshly prepared Rice and Beans and Savory Chicken! On the way back to the City, stop at Peccary Park where your experienced guides will brief you on safety procedures for handling your automatic ATV and issue protective gear and helmets.

It is now time to explore the jungles of Belize on trails laid out over 100 years ago by loggers in search of precious Mahogany trees. The trails are a good mix of various challenging terrains leading to the stop of the day - the Maya Caves. As you explore the cave, be on the look out for ancient ceramic pots forgotten for centuries. Who knows, you may be the one to spot an undiscovered find! After this stop, it is time to loop back to home base via jungle trails.

Change Fee Policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Cave Tubing & Rainforest ATV Adventure from Belize City Description

Come dressed in bathing suits, t-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes (which will get wet) or water shoes and a towel. It is best to bring waterproof cameras only. A change of clothes and shoes is recommended and will be welcomed after your cave tubing tour.

This tour offers some adventurous activities and when participating in such activities you attest and verify that you are physically fit and in good health to undertake such activity. The participant will assume the risks and dangers inherent to these areas and activities.

Participants must be 16 years of age or have valid driver's license to participate. Participants must also be in moderate physical condition with no physical limitations.
