A close encounter with one of the youngest volcanoes of the American continent. The journey begins departing from Managua, and heading for an hour and a half to the northwest to get to Malpaisillo's town from where we will access and climb the volcano which is an active volcano. By climbing it you will live an unequalled experience that is reserved for those in good physical conditions. If you do not wish to climb the volcano you can still enjoy yourself by being so close to the volcano. On a clear day, you can appreciate the impressive volcanic chain of Marribios. After having accomplished the long walk, the excursion continues visiting the park and Cathedral of Leon's city, the most important religious centre of Nicaragua. Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants in the zone.
