Frequently Asked Questions

Do you pick up at my hotel? -- This tour picks up from select hotels up and down the Strip. The number of hotels where pickups occur is limited to reduce the time spent doing pick-ups, so you can get to the canyon before everyone else, thus avoiding the crowds. But don’t worry – even if your hotel is not one of the designated pick up locations, it will never be more than a 5 minute walk to where a pick-up is available.

Is food and beverage included? -- Yes, absolutely!  Your tour includes a hot sit-down breakfast at a local restaurant on the way to the Canyon which will fuel you up for the day, a BBQ lunch at the Canyon, plus two ice-cold bottles of water.

What about dietary restrictions? -- Please specify any when you book your tour. There are multiple options available for the meals and most restrictions can be accommodated.

Do we stop at the Hoover Dam? -- Yes, your tour includes a stop at the Hoover Dam Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.  From here you can obtain the most beautiful views of the Hoover Dam. Thios is the only Grand Canyon tour departing from Las Vegas that still includes this stop.

Do we have to do a lot of walking at the Grand Canyon? -- No.  It’s totally optional.  There is a shuttle bus to take you around the different stops at the Canyon, and at Guano point there are a few completely optional hikes you do if you would like to do some more exploring and get some really awesome photos.

What are the advantages of visiting the Grand Canyon West Rim over the South Rim -- The West Rim is much closer to Vegas than the South Rim (which is 10 hours of just travel round trip) and the West Rim is also the only location with the world famous Skywalk!

Are there any other additional fees to pay? -- There are no additional fees, unless you choose to order the optional Skywalk tickets.  Everything else is included in the price you pay.  Unlike some other tours, there are no fuel surcharges or any other surprise fees once you get on the bus.

Is the Skywalk included in your tour? -- The Grand Canyon Skywalk is not included in the tour price – however you do have the option to book it as an Add-On - or purchase it direct from your guide on the bus.

Do the buses have bathrooms onboard? -- Yes they do! Plus additionally, you are never on the bus for more than 45 minutes without a bathroom break.

Do the buses have AC/Heating on board? -- Yes. The buses are climate controlled to an optimum comfortable temperature all year around.

Are we allowed to bring large bags/coolers on the bus? -- Only small bags and coolers are allowed (something that can be put between your feet or under your seat).  However, if you are checking out of your hotel on the day you are taking our tour, all Vegas hotels offer free bag storage so you may do what many guests do – check out of the hotel in the morning, store your bags with the bag storage, then when you arrive back from your tour, pick up your bags and head straight to the airport.

Sample Itinerary Details

This full-day tour kicks off with complimentary pick-up from your hotel (or one very close by), where you board the air-conditioned luxury bus.  You are then whisked off (no change of buses like some companies) straight to breakfast with a freshly cooked made-to-order hot meal at a local restaurant.

En route to the Canyon, stop off at the Hover Dam Bypass Bridge for a once-in-a-lifetime photo op. Built during the Great Depression and now roughly 90 years old, this modern marvel is a testament to human imagination and engineering, even in the face of great adversity. Then you'll traverse the Joshua Tree Forest and Black Mountains on the way to the West Rim. Your comedian-turned-tour guide will share fun (and hopefully, funny) facts and history about the natural splendor that surrounds you.

Included in your package is a full entrance ticket into the Grand Canyon West. Upon reaching the Canyon, you will meet your hosts for the day - the Hualapai Indians!. They will share customary Hualapai traditions, all while adorned in authentic tribal attire and eager to share their culture's history and performances for your enrichment.

Lunch is included at the Skyview Restaurant. The views from here while you enjoy your food are incredible, and could be quite possibly be the most scenic meal you have ever had! It's skip-the-line access for lunch - which is a very valuable inclusion on busy days as the regular line at this restaurant can sometimes have an hour wait.

The tour includes plenty of time at Guano Point. From here some of the best views of the canyon can be experienced. For the adventurous (and this is totally optional), you may choose to embark upon an upward climb to the peak of Guano Point. At this peak, you will have an almost 360-degree view of the canyon, and you will witness fascinating views of the Colorado River below, and the naturally painted colors of the Grand Canyon walls from every direction. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the silence and solitude exclusive to this remarkable area. Here, nature’s stillness and beauty are unparalleled. You may also take a leisurely stroll around Guano Point to experience incredible views all around.

The Skywalk is located at Eagle Point, 4000’ above the Colorado River. This amazing lookout area grants a near-360 degree view of the Canyon’s Western Rim, over a glass-framed cantilever style bridge for an optimal observation experience.  Its horseshoe-shaped frame floats over the canyon, which allows visitors to feel like they are walking on air. You can see clear down to the canyon floor from the Skywalk, so it is a truly unique view and is a very popular attraction at the Grand Canyon. Tickets for the Skywalk are offered as an Add-On during booking - but even if you don't pre-order them, you can purchase them from your guide on the bus.

At the Canyon you will have 3.5 hours to explore all the various attractions that are available. This will give you more than enough time to experience everything the canyon has to offer, plus leave some time at the end for a little bit of souvenir shopping.

On your drive back to Vegas, the guide will give you some time to relax and maybe take a short nap, and then as you arrive back to Vegas you will receive tips and tricks on how to enhance your Vegas Vacation from your Comedian Guide who knows Vegas like the back of his/her hand! Then you are dropped off back at your original pick-up location, leaving you to enjoy the rest of your evening and remaining vacation in Las Vegas.
